Full-Arch Restoration

When you are missing a majority or all your teeth, it can be hard to have the confidence to smile and live your life normally.

Without teeth, you lose the ability to eat and smile, and the quality of your life may decrease significantly.

Fortunately, a full-arch restoration can restore a full arch of teeth in just one procedure. Patients who receive a full-arch restoration report that their new teeth look, function, and feel just like natural teeth.

If you’re looking to replace multiple teeth and think individual implants are too expensive or may take too much time, the full-arch restoration might be the solution for you.

To hear more about the procedure and how it can restore your smile in just one procedure, feel free to call our practice at (509) 783-7600.

Missing your smile? Full-arch restoration can help

Losing most or all your teeth can be an incredibly difficult experience. Everyday tasks that were once easy, such as smiling or chewing food, can become difficult and painful.

Our oral surgery office offers a life-changing solution to extensive tooth loss, replacing an entire upper and/or lower arch of teeth with a permanent set of beautiful replacement teeth in a single procedure called a full-arch restoration.

Many patients prefer full-arch restoration because of the simplicity of the treatment. Full-arch restoration allows you to completely restore your entire arch of teeth using dental implants. This strong dental implant base serves to support an entire upper or lower arch of teeth, which are specifically made to fit your mouth.

During your initial consultation, our oral surgeons will complete a thorough examination, take 3D scans of your jaws and any remaining teeth, and take impressions for your temporary set of teeth.

During your procedure, we will place four or more dental implants into your mouth, which will begin to fuse into your jawbone during the recovery period. Your temporary set of teeth will be attached to the implants, allowing you to begin smiling again immediately.

After the dental implants have fully healed and integrated with your jawbone, your new set of beautiful permanent teeth will be placed.

Benefits of Full-Arch Restoration

Replacing all your teeth at once through full-arch restoration offers a variety of benefits over other more traditional tooth restoration options such as bridges or dentures.

Replacing an entire arch in one procedure is cost-effective and minimizes healing time. Restoring an entire arch of teeth with individual dental implants or implant-supported partial dentures can be expensive, and multiple surgeries for placement require more healing time.

Full-arch restoration is incredibly efficient; it can restore an entire arch of teeth with as little as one surgical procedure. You can start to enjoy your new smile immediately. When your implants are placed, you will immediately be given a temporary set of replacement teeth, which allows you to enjoy a beautiful row of white teeth while you wait for your final set of teeth to be fabricated.

Once the implant sites have healed, your new set of custom-designed teeth will be attached to the dental implants. You will be able to eat, smile, and laugh with confidence. Once the implant sites heal, you will be able to eat whatever you like; the implant foundation of your new teeth will be extremely secure, so there is no risk of your teeth falling out when you bite something or laugh.

The implants will stimulate the jawbone and promote good oral health. When teeth are lost, the jawbone begins to deteriorate around the missing tooth sites. Dental implants stimulate the jaw bone just like your natural teeth would, which fights bone loss and preserves your oral health.

At Columbia Basin Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, we understand how difficult it can be to restore your missing teeth with a replacement option that allows you to smile, eat, and speak with confidence. If you have lost an entire row of teeth, we encourage you to contact our office in Kennewick, WA. We will perform a thorough oral examination and review all your options for full-arch restoration.
